Series: “Am I a Good Person?”
How Would You Describe Yourself?
The extreme nature of personality traits allows you to identify the contradictory trait: when we see the “bad”, we can easily constitute the “good”. If you realize you have some bad traits and want to change that, identify the opposite trait.
For example: if you feel you’re arrogant, try to be humble; if you’re judgmental, try to be understanding; if you’re anxious, try to be calm…
Another option is to highlight the goodness within the “bad” traits, learning to use the constructive link to reflect the good within the bad….
To improve, we must be real with ourselves. Acknowledge deficiencies! Awareness and acceptance allow us to take a sincere initiative to bettering ourselves.
